same for me about the delay, but i disagree with you for locational damage.. think a minute how cool can be a scream like HEADSHOT when hitting a little poor head on the other side of a map? it's one of the few things i miss in nexuiz..

ah, i remember an UT mod (a sort of instagib) where more frag you do bigger head you have (and if u sux the head reduces), was COOL, plz rethink ur opinio about it :)

I like the idea of a somewhat faster mutch weaker shot as primary and tChr's first sugestion as secondary. This is eazy nuff to do a mod for, so if noone les does ill will prody do it in the next few weaks or so.

I have always been keen on the idea of a gun/gunz that does damage over time for nexuiz. I did a bit of this in tmod with the flaregun (fire damage) but that mod never realy cought on. Lately i added something similar to my "laserwar" mod. I changed the nexgun into a blood drain gun, one hit does 80 damage over 10 sec (in std config) succsessive shots increases the effect. Its very deadly in its standard form, but does allows the victim to fight back for as long as he can find enought health to offset the drain (this is preddy mutch impossible after 2-3 hits in laserwar since only 5hp packs exsists) or dies.

I was thinking about using this as an oppurtunity to learn QC myself, as I have tended to rely a bit too heavily on you (tZork) and KJadaver in the past, but if you want to make it, sure :) I'm not sure i want primare faster though.. but lowered to around 120 or so.

Go ahead and make it =) if you need some directions you know here to find me. just cvar as mutch as possible so you can tune it.

I was thiking 50dmg/0.3 sec refire. That gives you 166 dmg/sec (current is 150/sec) however landning 3 hits in one sec requiers alot more skill then landning 1 hit in one sec ;)

how about that nexgun wont damage armor at all and his dmg will be lowered alot whit each armor point you got, so 100hp and 100armor player will need 3 shots to be dead, but it will kill 200hp 0armor player whit 1 shot ?

That would be utterly stupic and totally aginst the entire purpose of being able to bring down rmor stacked oponents :)
