CTF idea- triangulation gun?

Wastes? We have plenty available, with recent engine changes.

How about this- the primary fire would have to be activated by 3 people, and only those 3 people would see the player tracking. However, secondary fire could send out a blip on the radar of everyone else of the FC position (Only for a second).

I haven't thought this through fully, I was hoping you guys might have some input.

Consider 3 more weapons and 20 slots will be full. Ok, nexuiz can have 32 weapons with the same flag, but currently support for 20 is coded.

Dunno, maybe, 3 people mark would work only on rather open maps and most of them would use nex instead of marking. You probably need more opinions.

Lose the 3 ppl idea. if 3 ppl have a clean shot at the enemy fc and wastes it by "panting" him, they should be forced to play eyecancer with vr glasses for 3 hrs straight ;)

How abt a tracker gun in general? Fire a projectile, if it hits something it ping's the team radar every 5 sec for 10-30 sec.

How about self destruction? It has a rather high area of effect. Instantly kills the carrier (no matter how much health he has) but the damage fades out rather rapidly the further the area of effect goes.

Cool huh? :D

Self destruct would be cool. I like that idea. I don't think it should be an instakill though, maybe just a high damage super-weapon type thing.

For example, you fire the projectile, it sticks to them, and pings radar. Then, secondary is to detonate it remotely- it would take 3 seconds to detonate, in which time the person is warned that they are tagged (so they can get away from their teammates, since the detonation would have splash).

I'll work on the model after I meet this deadline later today.
