Well,it can be a CTF only weapon.
But I have a much cooler idea:
You can tag anybody with the weapon,but it'll only ping,if you have it in your hand. If the tracked one is killed,the weapon deplets,and you loose it. If you switch to other weapon while tracking, the beacon automatically returns, and you loose the tracked (but your weapon remains). Secondary fire mode retrieves the tracker device. (to be continued)

Now on the fun part: if you get killed while tracking,the weapon becomes unstable,and goes off with a big boom! , massively hurting everybody in the near.

So, since the porto is useful in ctf its automatically useless in all other modes?
Id imagine it would be useful to "paint a target " ons or assault etc, maybe extending it to target other entities then players as well.
