Invisibility and health on instagib

Minstagib with powerups is joke in itself. Whole mode is made to improve aim.

I disagree i like powerups in minstagib.

Alien didn't invent Minstagib. That was tChr. So he's the one to blame. And we might ask him to decide about the grade of invisibilitynessicity.

It's fine imo, it's a powerup..you get it, you use it, it lasts 30 seconds like the others.

Stop blaming experienced players for knowing where they are / how to get them. (and this comment isn't aimed at you urmel, i was just quoting your line for the first line of my reply )

I don't think anyone is blaming anyone else. I know where they are on most maps - so I can get as much of an edge from them as anybody else - but I think the edge they provide for any single game is too much.
If I get the timing right and pick up the majority of the powerups, I can beat much better players than myself.
This is not about getting owned and complaining about it. I just think they miss the point of instagib.

Insta-gib is any mode where the weapon is 1 hit kill (you are instantly turned into a heap of gibs). Usually, it's played with a hitscan weapon, like the nexgun. In Nexuiz, instagib with the nexgun is called 'minstagib'

I don't know if this was changed or if I did something in my graphics settings (I think I didn't have HDR on when I posted this, now I have) - but invisibility was perfectly fine in the games I played recently - mostly CTF. - Not completely invisible but reasonably camouflaged.
