Mainly the sv_accelerate one, but while in air, sv_airaccel_sideways_friction also helps with dodging.

I'm going to have to say that the jump to mega health on aggressor was very easy for me with old physics, so these new physics don't help me much. I haven't played with the new physics for long, but it appears to me that on every map my speed is capped at 60 km/h.

Edit: Another thing, now I can not do the jump on soylent to mega health very well anymore.

Which jump exactly? I played soylent to test the campaign and had no problems.. on the other hand a lot of 're'jumps work much better now

heh... I for 100% agree with jlue. The game IS ruined.
Who cares about the records? Even if they would be 2x times faster the movement overall is not free and easy as it was. It's like your moving in glue. And here we have nexuiz becoming one of those crappy shooters out there.

Those changes were active on at least 5 well known test server for over 2 month! Besides some people do not even notice there is a chance at all. I think you just overreact to those chances.

It's better now then never. I guess I should have but I so much doubt that someone would listen to a guy with 2 posts on this forum. It would've ended up in a big flame and thy mighty banhammer if I had been persistent.

No, actually i just made clear that i'm pissed at people coming up with that topic NOW. Thats all. Those test server are up for a reason.. which is to get feedback! We did not get any, or actually just by a few guys and one of them (jLue) did it in such a bad way that HE indeed was ignored for being a idiot. Actually he did not even find the time to respond in this thread after he was pointed to it several times.. Go figure! But i and all the others from the team are open to suggestions and discussion. But noone of those people disliking those change really started one here in the forum.. just search the forum you will find nothing. Is it really that hard to understand that what you guys are doing NOW is clearly the wrong way or rather the wrong time?

Sure we can start a discussion now but i guess you will have to live with the physics till the next bigger release. So do not make it sound now like it would be the developers fault!
