Nice song, I fell in love with it. I think more such songs should be in frag movies, it just gives it a whole new mood.
I also like some of your editing, in the beginning it was a bit odd following, but it gradually got better, it was a bit choppy. One tip would be to include some first person shots as well and tastefully mix that with 3rd person.

Excellent choice of a song! love boards of canada : ) .Nice first try for a video, try to get a bit better quality (edit the settings b4 you record), and as said b4 make it a bit smoother : ) . Its not about the frags, it's all about it being aesthetically pleasing .

they should call it youN00b :p

and you're probably better than I am XD
Why has a developer ever needed any reason other than "it looks bloody awesome?"

Your video jumps around too much so I can't tell how good or bad you are very precisely.

If I had to I would guess that you might be a beginning intermediate.

One example of an improvement is when you hit that guy with the nex in end. The video seemed to make a big deal out of that but you nearly shot over him. And since making a head shot doesn't do anything for you unless you are using the rifle, aiming for the torso or chest would have been better.

Thanks for the feedback everybody!

Wasn't trying to impress everyone with my mediocre skills, haha.

I'm going to make another one soon, better this time. :)

Ok, here are my comments.
The most important thing that struck me is the quality. Making better quality is more appealing, with all the good quality and HD movies this is the norm now.

Another thing is that it's way too long. The length wouldn't be a problem if you had included more maps and different situations. Good choice for music as usual, loved them, especially the middle one at 2.30 min mark. It felt kinda dark, depressing and sad, and seeing the map you played it fit like a hand in a glove.

I think I continued to watch just because of that song. You song choices really stand out from the 'normal' movies which I think is a great thing. Now if you polish up your editing skills you will make some great videos.

But as I said, the biggest problem (aside from quality) is that there was much of the same which in the end turns out rather boring. Have more variety with maps and situations. Take a look at other videos (both good and bad) to get a feel of it, if you haven't already.

regarding the graphic quality you can use the "Wait for gpu to finish each frame" option described here.

Then you end up with really nice smooth quality since you can have all settings max. It will look choppy when you record, but be patient!
If you use Terrence Hills "democam menu file", (linked in post above). remember to remove it from your nexuiz/data/ otherwise nexuiz wont list severs next time you want to play online.

Another tip is putting:

set cl_capturevideo_fps 90

In your autoexec.cfg which helps on capturing fast movement and make all around movement more fluid.

I usually encode my videos with handbrake (remember to limit the framerate when you encode), and mkvmerge to join several clips together, so I myself have a good copy, then I upload to youtubes.
Have fun! :)
