teamplay and communication

I was thinking about using this, I guess now is a good time. But on public servers most people are clueless and without any strategy, so I'm not sure how useful it would be (ie: why would I send those messages if nobody cares). Sometimes there are great players but since they dont communicate either I can't really know what's their status so I never know what they're doing or what they're planning to do.

I'm actually starting to get bored of this game because of this, most times I end up not caring about teammates, I just play whatever postion seems unoccupied or in need of help. I want to slap people's face when all they seem to care about is how many points they have individually and not the team per say. Like when their team is not leading and they sit on enemy flag until it comes back, instead of helping the dude trying to bring it to his base. Or they get the nex and sit in our base and then when an enemy gets past them and gets the flag, they don't run after him, instead they just sit there and wait for the flag to come back by itself and for the next enemy to come. Grrr.

I don't ever see people on IRC wanting to start a pickup game of teamplay or CTF, only duels. And I'm not interested in joining a clan so I guess I'm stuck at playing the 1 good out of the 10 games I can sometimes get on public servers.

I'm not very good at Nexuiz yet, just about getting comfortable with aim and movement, but I don't see how I could make progress in the other fields.

Scout's honor, if I see you on - and this goes for Obby One Ka-Nobby (Oblivion), Sully, mkzelda, etc - I'll use my team chat binds so you know what I'm up to and always back you up.

Except when I'm too busy show-boating, or I'm feeling surly, or I'm amusing myself by pinging n00bs into the void, or when I'm using you as bait to draw all fire away from me.
