Nexuiz Team Fortress Concept Pics 2

Heres what I've come up with so far with Team Fortress for "Nexuiz" Nothing is written in stone as these pictures are made for inspirational purpose also. So someone besides Me, may become inspired and come up with some concepts and bring this game to Life!

The Demoman = Demolitionist

He is dressed like a "Thrasher" type with a dirt bike helmet.

The Engineer

He is mainly a builder

The Medic

Lets make him a little "Retro" with some type Ray-Gun Healer vintage 1950's

The Spy

lets make him look like a Spy! I didnt like the direction Valve went with him.

The Scout

Lets make this Character a Female, I live in Chicago, there's alot of female joggers in my neighborhood, and most of them are quick and sexy, and terribly distractive. This could work well in the game. as a Distraction.

The Soldier

Not too much design on this one, I just went with the pencil.

The Sniper

Just a sniper, not too much design on this one either.

The Pyro

Here's the pyro, a little different than valve, and all designs are not coppied.

I just threw this one on the paper, I was just running out of ideas.

I leave The floor to you guys, to come up with more designs and "IDEAS"
These are just My Ideas and would love to bring Team Fortress to Nexuiz.
Nothing is written in "STONE" these are just Ideas...

I have Been Doing a Little BrainStorming on My Own, and came up with a couple "Ideas".

How about a "Trapper" a guy that Makes "Traps" he'll be 'Kinda" like the Engineer, as when the engineer wants to make a "Turret" in a "Impossible" Spot for the game Engine to handle, the "Trapper" will be the same. An "X" will highlight on the HUD when he wants to make a Trap that the Engine cant handle because of bad geometry.

A Clown Type Character Called a "Klown" that make weapons out of Balloons. With Floppy shoes, and an Invisible Dog (Holding the Leash).

The Burly Brawler = No Projectile weapons, Kinda Like "Conan The Barbarian" , running around with two swords and a Shield. Speed and agility will compensate for the lack of Bombs and Missles.

Tough your drawings are good; it does seem like a total tf2 copy. I suggest you use your vivid imagination to dream up some new classes instead :)

Thats why I left the Floor open to the rest, My Imagination wont invent new a new class at this moment, i'm burned out from work and my own problems at home.

My Idea for Team Fortress would be like TF2 in a way, the trick is to equalize the "Powers" and "Abilities" of each Character. TF2 makes some Characters to Hard to Kill, and thats not "Fun" or even a good "Game".

Hear Me out, TF2 can have about 5 engineers making Turrets and other objects then your gonna get killed like a hundred times, unless you play a "Spy" and destroy a couple turrets. Even that is super hard with only 2 spys.

And now I just saw a couple days ago some players with "Swords" on TF2, I played Demo, and they were Demo also with swords and I couldnt "Kill" them. Thats where I think its not even a Challenge or even "Fun" to Play!
Its fun only for the Guy that Cant be stopped.

Thats were Valve fails. I dont like the achievment System, I think Achievments should only give you Better and "Newer" weapons. Not "Super Human" Health. I want this TF to be Equal to the Point if a Player Has the "Upperhand" on Weapons and Fire Power, the weaker Player will have to have some sort of ability to equalize his weakness.

I can come up new "Designs" at any time, but a Newer Class, might might not fit in with the Engine.

The Achievment System needs to be reformed, and this could work on "Nexuiz", But brainstorming on this whole Idea, not just by Myself, I need more People with Different Views and Different ways the "Game" should be Played. And most Important of all, MAKE IT FUN TO PLAY!

I don't know anything about TF, but I was working on my own class based mod with 12 original unit classes split between two opposing factions. I had already started concepting/modeling 6 of the classes' visuals.

But then the coders who were working on the actual code for supporting class-based mods in Nexuiz quit. I don't know how far along they got but so far no one else seems too interested in picking up the code they left off. So until/unless new volunteer C coders can be found to take up and complete the task, I am afraid this discussion here might be rather pointless. :(
