It works by altering game content which is considered cheating, but for benachmarking its ok..

I installed the Nexuiz build from mai 14th now on a Dell Laptop with a 2Ghz Pentium, 512 MB RAM and a Mobiloity Radeon 9000/64MB. I used Brutail's config and autoexec settings and it runs amazingly fast with around 150 to 200fps on agressor. whee! :D

I also did a timedemo (demo1) for benchmarking and got min 34/avg58/max74.

For some this may not be a low end PC, the game looks like blergh but nevertheless I'm quite surprised with these results. :)

just to update that: with the official 2.3 version I get 34/avg49/max81 now

yeah, it did become slower due to the new animated texture features.
