Disable ogg streaming ? [Solved]

Postby RedGuff » Sun Mar 02, 2008 6:10 pm

Hello. :)
Is is possible to disable ogg streaming in Nexuiz 2.4 ?
When I activate music, the game pause 1 second each second to charge the ogg file.
It's normal when music is disable and in Nexuiz 2.3.
I've read all the config files, and I've not seen the good parameter.
Thanks for your attention.

snd_streaming controls the streaming.. if you disable it (set to 0) the engine will load all the oggs into memory and use MORE. But i can hardly imagine a system that should have problems with that streaming ???

Thanks for answer. :)
I have another solution : I reboot just before the game.
It's okay.
Thanks for this solution. :)
I modify the subject as "solved".

I can't imagine why rebooting would help - it's not streaming them from disk, it streams them from memory.

Maybe you have too little ram?

I suppose that my problem was One-Time one.
Just before, my system was stressed by many applications open.
Thanks for all.
