Captain Obvious tells me that forum moderators generally tend to threaten with bans.

Yes, better still please just leave this to a technical discussion of hardware that works well/not so well with Nexuiz and we won't join you in any other channel as we just don't want to talk to you at all.

...your point?

Xm4n wrote:If you are a true gamer, you know what my posts mean and for you posers,

True gamer? You seem to talk about this group as if it is an important demographic mutually exclusive from any other group in society. As for 'posers' it's pretty obvious that you are the poser in this discussion as you are the one making a big thing about a technological purchase.

Well I could quote all of your previous posts but I think everyone else here can just scroll up to see how much of an arse you've already made of yourself.

geforce mx 400 run with about 40 fps on normal settings without any players, with players it runs on 50-60fps with lowest settings
geforce 6600 GT runs well on most maps (around 100fps) with normal settings and no players, with players you need low settings
geforce 9600 GT runs most of the maps are playable with ultra settings and several players (average fps about 100)
geforce 260 GTX runs almost everything fine with everything at its maximum. even during online play it works.

Linux:
- Radeon HD4850 with latest fglrx. Runs game great on high settings @ 1680x1050. Ultimate is possible, but frames suffer on some maps (usually on custom ones).
- Radeon HD4850 with latest mesa and radeon git code. Game runs at an acceptable pace at high settings. Must turn off GLSL, AA, Bloom/HDR, and Blur effects, otherwise game can crash or turn into a slide show. Some effects don't work or can cause the game to crash (reflective water does not render, Electro shots cause severe frame drops and can even crash the game, etc).
- Radeon 200M running latest git code. Runs but with lots of rendering issues. Previous versions of the game and driver used to work fine though, making the game semi-playable (10-25fps) for the most part (low settings @ 800x600).
- Radeon 9800pro running latest git code. Same as above. Previous drivers and versions of the game ran fine (medium @ 1024x768). Issues could be due to changes in the drivers (most likely), changes in the latest Nexuiz, or both.

I should point out that any fairly old posts here are useless, as the engine has changed a lot since e.g. the first post of this thread. Even from a few months ago, the engine has quite a few changes which would make a difference here... Perhaps an updated list is in order?
Do it yourself, or stop complaining.

What is a filter and how does DTP software use filters to create a useable file ready for output.? This is a graphic art question like indesign, photoshop, and illustrator. I already know the definition of filter and what program use it.
