How Well Nexuiz is Going to Perform on My Computer?

Postby Serag » Tue Aug 12, 2008 11:38 pm

I have:
P4 @ 3Ghz with 2mb L2 Cash
2x1 GB RAM @ 667 Mhz
GeForce 7300LE @ 256MB

So...am I going to be able to run this awesome game-will download it very soon- with this Spec's at decent graphic range ?
Or I will have to turn off some features just to be able to play?!!

It should run fine with the default settings. :)

Look at here:

I'm still using this rig for Nexuiz. OS is Linux, I've found it runs Nexuiz better then Windows. I can play well on default cfg, sometimes on high too. FPS never goes lower then 40.

My rig is pretty old too.

AMD Venice 3000+
1gb OCZ value ram
Dual core 6600gt (basically SLI)

All of that is of course, overclocked. I tend to run nex on quite low settings just because I like my FPS. I usually get around 120-180 easy. Sometimes pending on the map, 200 or more.
Possibly not the worst mapper in the world.

The GeForce 7300 LE [Light Edition] is actually less computationally powerful than the 7100...

There have been reports, however, of people running with GeForce 5200s, 6100s, with effects disabled, at low resolutions, etc.

Well.. I don't think that's right...because I had 7100 and it is way less powerful than 7300 even LE....
Anyway..for Open GL games I can run for example Quake 4 at High Quality with shadows disabled @ 1024x768 with no problems ( the game restricts Fps so it's always 60)

I retract my previous statement, confused 7300 LE with 7300 SE.
