No0b performance question

Hey everyone, Im a no0b to Nexuiz, and I have a problem. I'm on a MacBook pro running Leopard. Is there any way I can get the speed of loading faster? The game never starts because it takes so long to load. Any help is appreciated

I have no idea how fast a "MacBook pro" is (which CPU, which graphics card, how much memory). Can you tell us these details?
Anyway, does it take ages on a black screen, or are you still in Finder and it never opens?

1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again
You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.
