Improving you framerate

I use a GeForce 4 MX video card, the graphics on this game tend to choke it up a bit. I've found that if you disable "Bloom" on the effects option it will drastically improve your framerate.

Have an Nvidia FX5500 128MB on a 1,8 GHz P4 with 896 MB, running WXP SP2 and a game like Far Cry runs good but Nexuiz only runned with 1 (one) fps until I found out it was the standard Microsoft XP driver. But Nvidia Forceware did the thing.

I REALLY would love to know how farcry can run good with default drivers installed.. An idea would be that farcry uses DirectX which is for sure supported by ms default drivers while OpenGL is not..
*sarcasm* I really love this company for supporting other then their own standards ...

People should always !!!!! install uptodate drivers for their hardware anyway..
