No idea, what are these binds?
1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again

You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

i guess those: http://forums.alientrap.local/viewtopic.php?p=16996#16996
But after a quick look i see no reason why they should not still work.

And that sound bug reported by 70mm13 is already fixed, and i added code to make func_bob damage blocking players too if they have dmg/dmgtime set.

Are you sure that all your cfg files are in the data directory of 2.3? Do your other settings and binds work the way they should?

No need to.. on Mac and Linux data is also read and stored from ~/.nexuiz/data which he has.

I haven't played with 2.3 too much yet, but I must say it looks nice so far. Thanks to the performance improvements I am FINALLY able to play with every setting on/at full with a decent frame rate (I run the game with a Geforce 7900GS). Granted, some levels get better frame rates than others (Basement seems to get poor performance in every version, but it's getting better.) The Nex especially looks awesome with its gloss.

One thing though, is there a way to turn off the "TESTING ONLY" text in the corner? It's hard to read chat messages in the lower-left corner with that text constantly on top.

P.S. I notice the occasional "outlines" mentioned earlier, most notably on the electro.

Open the console and write:
Code: Select all
seta showbrand 0

Or better yet, stick that line in your autoexec.cfg.

Just a quick question.
Does 2.3 support mutithreading outside of MacOSX or has this feature been included in the past.
If so, what is the command to enable/disable it.
I want to test something out and see how much mutithreading evens out the driver issues and GPU overload.

Thanks.
