More Colors!!

Postby Ronin » Tue Jun 26, 2007 8:20 pm

I think it would be great to have a wider, and more vivid color selection in the player edit menu. Maybe something along the lines of the original half-life player set up. It would be nice to see a good mix of player colors on character models that are nice and vivid. And i know this is the wrong post, but it would be great to have models that had more spots that color effected. I know im barking out of my ass, and its not an easy task, but ....yea... it would be nice... ehem

A worthy talent.

I agree however. The current colors are a bit drab.

Picking colors from a palette like in GIMP would be much easier. Selecting colors from a slider bar is hard compared to that.

Games such as Homeworld have this.

I agree with a palette for shirt color. Not for pants color, that would make it shit hard to become team mates :) the pants color decides your team, as you all know :)

Actually, in team matches, both colors are set to the team color.
1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again

You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

Why not? Otherwise it may be too hard to distinguish players.

mmh

Lets call it a challenge. Nothing stopping your from activly setting the same colors as your team if you wish.

Different shirt colors would make it easier to distinguish between spesific members of your team. also, if people choose camouflage colors, they woulld more easily be hit by teammates, etc.

Well, players would set red shirt and blue pants... also, I doubt anyone would want to go to player setup every single match.
