Does not work license wise so no. If they released some kind of driver that allowed the free software based systems to run in hardware on a graphics card then it would be possible, but that's unlikely.

It will take a huge toll on the GPU. I am running UT3 at almost all Max at a smooth rate of 60fps but when I played Nvidia's physx maps. It dropped to unplayable framerate and as someone said above, Nexuiz was never about realism.

Implementing it would be cool though.

What graphic card you have ?

Nvidia PhysX is designed for 8xxx or beter .
And you must remember about downloading new drivers and eneble PhysX in control panel.

8600GT which is overclocked to almost match the performance of a 8600GTX. Not a particular strong card in the series but its cheap :P.

I have latest drivers and already tried tweaking around. Hardware physics in UT3 seems to take a crazy toll on my GPU.

Without it, I can get an average of 60fps but with it enabled, single digit. -Shocks-

When (if) physx becomes de facto standard, then maybe someone will do it. What I've understood until now Nexuiz is made to be available to as many players as possible and not for the ones running latest and greatest. If you have coding skills, you could add physx support to DarkPlaces and I believe LordHavoc will accept this.

Nexuiz at least now isn't real time combat simulator, it's more like traditional old school shooter, which can be played competitively. If I am informed correctly, It's uses Newtonian physics for body and gibs simulation. Of course, picking things and destroying environment would be fun, but it won't make you score more frags. Some might not agree, but imho it's the main purpose of this game (gameplay wise)

In addition, visual effects such as snow and rain realism does not depend on physx (at least, how I understand it), but on the available OpenGL functions your graphics card can support. Yes, it would be fun to have those, but I don't think it's the main priority now.

Personally I find fancy graphics very distracting when playing. I was playing Nexuiz on my friends computer (8800gtx, Quad core, 4gb etc.) turned up full and half the time I couldnt aim because I kept getting distracted by the prettiness.
Possibly not the worst mapper in the world.
