Thanks, looking forward to it. Looks like I will have a little light reading on my hands before I jump into coding :)

Hello and welcome Mizu, nice to see you here :)

Wow, seems a lot has been going on in this topic. I'm really glad to see more developers willing to help, I admit that at some point I thought the game might die due to the lack of developers. Big changes and improvements have been done recently though, and I think that if people are willing to help and put what they can into this game it will be by far the best opensource shooter of its type out there :)

Yes, I agree :) It can be even better and better though. It's already at the quality of a commercial game which is a lot.

Not just quite yet, better physics and characters models/animations and character animation code would be needed, if you mean a modern commercial game.

But the graphics engine, gameplay balance and netcode are there.

Just to add.... I intend on becoming an official developer. :)
Do it yourself, or stop complaining.

Does the term "official developer" mean coders only or content artists too? If the later then I have this same goal as well.

both. which i can do as well as music, but keep in mind that if my music is ever used, which i plan for my nongpl game, that my band "Torn'n'Tattered" or the second band i play with, "Decode Paradise" will need to be cited. So "official dev" to me refers to "THE OFFICIAL DEV" that have say a [Dev] or some forum marker like a color or title and officially do the coding and content design.
