Well, if you have a mac, maybe you can think about setting up such a shell account... that would solve everything.

But even if 2.5 gets released without Mac support, you still can compile it on your own. So you could still play, but installing the game would be harder.
1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again

You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

When the community takes without giving this "fun" happens. Same with development of the game and engine. No one ever has "time". The original devs had "time"... why cant the peeps here have "time"?.

Though this problem, mac support, looks like it might get fixed :)

If your saying that im one of the people who has just "taken" from Nexuiz you are wrong my friend. I havn't just "taken" from nexuiz. I've made music for the game and continue to do so, this is straight of my limited spare time. Im giving something back to the game for the entertainment I get. If I knew the first thing about coding and compiling or whatever, I would be there to support, my mac is not online all the time and im not in a position where my mac can be online 24/7. I know nothing of programming games or whatever it is but I know music production and thats what I give to Nexuiz.

I hope this problem gets fixed, I understand the situation and I don't blame anyone, if I could help I would, but on this front im in no position.

Oh cool. I just have to ask, are you the one who created the music 'Meltdown' which is used in the map Gasolinepowered? I know it's a long shot, but I just wanted to ask anyway :)

Some of my tracks are on here www.myspace.com/sc0rpnex

also may I just add, Fruitie actually put the wrong version of "MELTDOWN" on "GASOLINE POWERED" lol I have just uploaded the proper finished version on my page.

Great! I gotta say, I absolutely love that song. I was about to ask you if you had a site where you had hosted some of your music. And also if you planned on finishing the Meltdown song. It's so hardcore.
I'm currently also listening to some other songs, you are really good. :) Are some of your songs under the GPL license or something? I'm asking cause I've been thinking of making a Nexuiz movie including the Meltdown song (if it is ok with you that is). I wanted to get a hold of the author of that song before I did anything, to ask permission. :)

Wormhole is very stalled atm.
But the sky is getting there...sort of.
oh................off topic sry.
Hmmm, I'll put up a few euros for the mac, there are a lot of mac players out there, it would be really really sad to lose them.
