Hi all,

Ive started a new irc room aimed purely at music or anything sound related for Nexuiz.

Yes I know we have #nexuiz.editing but I feel that most chat in this room is for map design or player models or whatever else you clever gits are up to in there :p

The numbers of people making music for Nexuiz seems to be very low and maybe if the few that are making an effort combine thoughts, techniques and anything else helpful to progress some more good music in Nexuiz in real time, we could get some quality and fitting music to go well with the quality maps the clever design guys are producing.

Im not a computer game music production expert and making music for a computer game was completely new to me at the start of the year but ive managed to make a couple of tracks that have featured on maps and ive got a couple more about to drop.

I can make music, but at present only out of drum beats. I dont have my old synthesiser program installed any more I'd need to dig it out. Even then I cant use the bugger because its stupidly complex
