I can keep quiet while discussing gameplay if that's the wish.

Talking about DCC there is huge difference between 2.4.2 which DCC runs and svn version on green's & div0's servers. Svn servers somehow seems more laggy then it should when you have low ping. Should probably be moved on a separate topic. Fixed spelling errors, did not change content.

Alien, the comment about DCC Delight was about the kind of player I encounter there, people you hardly find on this forum and if you do they are not very vocal. I am talking about folks like Narvik, Waldi, Einfach Horst, Sxen and so many others. People that for me keep the spirit of this game alive and well. A frag and a smile go hand in hand you know :}

It had nothing whatsoever to do with gameplay, weapon ballistics (statistics I mean), SVN vs non-SVN, etc. If 2.5 arrives at DCC Plain Delight, I trust these people will still act the same.

NB: for those peoplel thinking "oh my, PinkRobot sounds even more gay)) than usual", the reason why I am now focusing on promoting some people I enjoy being around in this community, on irc, forum or the game itself is that I want to make some points without attacking the people I think this community could do without.

Anyway, the on-topic discussion will continue after this post!

Well, some open source projects have things like "weekly newsletters" or "dev blogs", maintained by dedicated members of the community that monitor development.
