Looks like a packet loss situation. Were you throwing the rocket just before it happened or someone died?

Ah yes. I've seen this happen before as well.

I also see projectiles flying along normally -----

Then suddenly they seem to stop, and dissapear after rotating 90 degrees always downward | |
Possibly not the worst mapper in the world.

A blog of random pish:

Such things happen when client and server get largely out of sync due to packet loss.
1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again

You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

I don't think it's a packet loss

I found a bug in nexuiz.
It's almost the same as last time.
A Rocket launcher that i can't take.
More Info: it was at planetnexuiz.de Public Server at facing worlds nex.

I made a video about it : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PL5yPgInl_E

The bug can't get fixed with that poor info.

Make a save game when it appears again (on server console: save foo.sav), then put the foo.sav file online somewhere.

Still, I'd bet it is packet loss. Note that this is a thrown RL (it's not at the standard location), yet it did not fade out. One way to see if it was PL is to disconnect and reconnect. If the RL is gone then, it was PL.

Div has already posted: type in console save foo.sav when this happens, where foo is the name of the save.
