Please include SMD and any other needed plug-ins in the SVN.

I second this whole-heartedly if it is not already done. I plan to use (with original skeletal animations, not sure if that is still an issue) this in the near future and provide feedback.

I saw you posted at least an early version of it in the HOWTO: Make A New Nexuiz Playermodel. sticky. But it should still have a place in SVN, getting skeletally animated content from the only and very good FOSS 3D content creator (Blender) into Nexuiz is a major part of the game's content pipeline.
