Thats a plain lie. I for one totally love it, i know MrBougo does too.
HOF:
<Diablo> the nex is a "game modification"
<Diablo> quake1 never had a weapon like that.
<Vordreller> there was no need for anything over 4GB untill Vista came along
<Samua>]Idea: Fix it? :D
<Samua>Lies, that only applies to other people.

Plus how can a bunny not fit in a game with bunny hopping.

A Kangaroo character wouldn't look out of place either with such physics.

"Needless" to say, I for one love the doombunny as well. I'm looking forward to being chased down dark corridors with flickering lights to the sounds of paws, shot gun blasts and the low rumble of detonations afar, my breath in a shallow haste, eyes widened and heart race.

The marine and wraith is really really nice as well, truly awesome work! :D

As for the whole discussion around the doombunnys to "be or not to be" and well yes.. the feeling of an open community. I think its fine and in fact better with "low number" of models that look "better" than the "higher number" looking "worse". Which is hard to quantify the worse/better parts.. It's more inviting for people to contribute, that way, than having just a few models that look really really awesome. This, sort of applies to the style as well, its ok if its near the current "style of nexuiz" (which is ??? - a big discussion, ok we got a frame but.). It gives the community, the essence/soul of nexuiz, a feeling of no elitism and is more open and inviting. Effort combined with joy is always possible to guide in a desired direction.

What is with all these people saying the doom bunny doesn't fit Nexuiz? Nexuiz already has a cast of mutants and aliens such as the carni, that lizard looking thing, and the head hunter, there's no way it would look out of place.
I have left this website with the rest of the GPL Nexuiz community. You can find us at Xonotic.org

at least as downloadable bonus content.
Why has a developer ever needed any reason other than "it looks bloody awesome?"
