Nexuiz not lying? When you stand on high ground, have Rocket Launcher, and have your aim at a target on a lower ground, and you shoot, but instead of hitting target you blow your ass up because the rocket hit the ledge? You call that not lying? I dont know about you, but to me that is 'crosshair lies'.

The only one thing which would be good if it was changed is replacing hagar number with rl number cause currenly it stands in between rl and nex (two most popular weapons) and accidentally picking hagar during combat ruins your game.

No, easier weapon access does make sense to me. That's weapon access in a logical way using numbers 1-0. What you consider easy is your opinion. Do not confuse your opinion with mine.

Stop making such sweeping assumptions about what is 'easy' and 'sensible'. Most FPS games use a similar keyset to Nexuiz, this is familiar to many people and is hence easy. Your proposed keymap is a right sodding mess. The idea behind laying out a control interface is not simply to cram as many controls as possible into a small space, this makes a mess. You need to lay them out logically.

If you don't like the defaults, write a keymap_alpha.cfg file and submit it for inclusion for the interest of people who can't count beyond 4.

As far as I know, rockets tend to come out of rocket launchers and not out of eyes. Case closed.
1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again

You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

Crosshair: thing that shows where projectiles would be shot at.

Your comment has nothing to do with it.

Crosshair should not just point to the center of your screen. It actually indicates smth else.
And that's the point you aim.
Well... the thing i'm saying is. Just let the client decide this and the problem will be solved.

I don't know the exact reason, that's why I haven't said them. But I assume it has something to do with cheat protection. That's why a lot stuff is server side in Nexuiz. afaik.
But I'm sure somebody who knows more about this part of the engine will correct me, or tell the exact reasons.
