i can get this http://www.fabianrosten.com/nexuiz/MotionBlurRC1.zip patch working in windows 7 no problem. i found it didnt work in xp or vista.

still im a little annoyed i cant work out how to patch the source code for my ubuntu machine. could someone please tell me how to apply the http://emptyset.endoftheinternet.org/~rpolzer/nexuiz/motionblur-noaccum.difflinux patch?

That patch you posted is old... Look at the dev.alientrap.org link (http://dev.alientrap.org/issues/show/340 And again I say: You're doing something wrong for Vista and XP. Works perfectly fine on all of my machines. TURN OFF DEP!...
