This has been discussed over and over. and also tested, and allthough its a good idea, the overall conclusion is that nexuiz is too fast for a melee weapon.. The green glow of death could be cool though :)

Well... UT's impact hammer would work fine in Nexuiz I think... but just because it automatically "discharges" when touching an enemy.

Does UT's translocator count as melee weapon? ;) At least I used it as such...
1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again

You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

Green Glove of Death... or something similar. I'm always bumping into people, might as well do some damage while I'm there.

The pointy drill gun would be fun to play around with...

If it gets included, prepare to get MUTILATED!

No. The translocator is clearly a projectile weapon :)

I know it's hard to resist the GGD (Green Glove Of DEATH).
:P trust me, I get the feeling everytime, when I o3n ppl,
thinking baout o3ing ppl even harder like having that.

it would me amazing if when u touch the enemy with it,
there screen gets smoky and grey like and whey they
get the punch of death with the GGD. there whole screen
goes black, and no sound can be heard of there death, that
would be insanlly sick and scary as heck. 8)

oh eyah the faster the game the better think about it,
tag ur it, oh what happened he's dead, oppps. forgot to
tell u I have GGD.

oh yeah, bu the GGD must be limited to 1 like the
sniper rifle.

After having thought about it, my favourite would be the glove, but not killing but stealing all the ammunition from my opponent by touching him.

Would be da shit :D

You do have a point, but if it was to come true, the green glove of death should be only able to use on a few weapons. You don't have to pick it up, but on certain weapons you can press "F"
"If it's a war they're looking for, we'll give 'em one!"

Hmm, i'd like a "dis-armour" hand weapon, that would do no damage, but remove half the opponents armour. You all know what sort of opponent that would be come in handy for...
