I din't notice till someone mentioned it..but either way it seems to work nicely with the setting.

I only said there is a cvar for weapon spawns in 2.5.
But I didn't know the items where at 25 secs also when we played :d

I think 25 seconds should be the weapon spawn time. It's too easy to lose control of a map when the other team respawns.

from counting I get this:
3x25 seconds (weapons, armour shards, ammo + health packs)
2x25 seconds (weapons only)
0x27.5 seconds (weapons, armour shards, ammo + health packs)
1x27.5 seconds (weapons only)
0xNo change.

I got a bit confused by votes that weren't even in the list, done by k0jak himself and morfar, who said 25 seconds (armour shards, ammo + health packs) --> I assume they meant to include weapons as well, so it counted as: 25 seconds (weapons, armour shards, ammo + health packs)

Thus, 25 seconds (weapons, armour shards, ammo + health packs) wins!

Correct?

This would mean:
g_pickup_respawntime_short 25, for health(5/25) and armor (5)
g_pickup_respawntime_ammo 25
g_pickup_respawntime_weapon 25

Ok, basically the one's who have used the setting, mostly allstars, morfar, aii have played much more since when i first started this thread and have tested it more. We have since used 25 seconds WEAPONS only, this is what I originally intended to propose, but before we didn't have a seperate CVAR. I think they'd agree just to change the weapons and not the ammo/health packs that originally were effected. However it may help gameplay it may not, we never noticed a massive change when we first played with these settings by accident as shown by morfar/ai's comments here :)

However im happy and would say most of the other players who have played with the setting would be of just using 25 seconds for weapons, BUT like i said to green on IRC, ammo and health same time probably also makes sense, since when its 15 secs for weapons is for health / ammo also and would stop players controlling weapons AND stacking....less health stacking.

Yeah. I don't think changing the healths and armors is a good idea. We have not tested that, only be accident maybe.

I do agree with 25 sec for weapons. I also believe it would be crucial for armor and health as well though. Cause if a good player times all the good weapons giving the underdog less chance to come back, the good player would also be able to stock up on armor and health more quickly than the underdog being able to find a good weapon.
And if he once got a good weapon the enemy would be so much harder to kill.

So yes, 25 secs for weapons, armor shards, health and ammo.
