Wow, mikeCTFb2 really rocks. It seems to be properly scaled (or better: the size is good to move around there) and doesn't have any obvious glitches here. However, it will be too big for 3on3, thats for sure, I think.

hal_palindrome would fit, concerning its size (a 3on3 would be possible there). However, I do get FPS issues at the own/opponents base, and get stuck very often on that map.

hmm i never had fps problems on palindrome.. getting stuck yeah but i think its still good enough. I'll test those fps a bit on my computer.
Nope even on the normal.cfg settings fps did not go below 90 (without other players that is..)

I do get a drop to 50 FPS when entering a base (the small area where the flag is) :(

I just tested that area and i have no problems there what so ever.. Do you have any idea what could cause your problems?

No, sorry, I don't have any idea. I'm using an ATI card. I jsut tested the map again and it seems that the framedrop is "just" going down to 72 FPS, not 50 FPS. However, this is without models.

OTOH I have even more severe framdrops on maps like FacingWorlds, or especially Greatwall Reloaded, where I have 45 FPS at some places (again, without enemy models). SO just this fact shouldn't prevent the map to become a future candidate for the mappool.

I hereby suggest to playtest the map sometime this weekend. Are there anymore suggestions of maps to playtest ? I tried out mojoCTF locally, but first of all I don't like space maps anyway, and this map seems too open and too "stressful in gameplay" for me, too.
