3on3 Ladder Teams

Postby kyre » Mon Jan 15, 2007 11:57 pm

How do we make sure the CTF ladder is enjoyable for ALL players, not only the best players? If all the good players are clumped together in only a few teams the ladder will end up being pretty static, which in the long run isn't very fun for anyone.

After a bit of discussion amongst three of four active PGP clannies we came up with the following idea: What if the players in the random and pgp clans spread out into different teams?

Me, Vociferous and dIM aren't against that idea, how about the rest of you? Some discussion here, please. :-)

I won't even play CTF anyway I think, so I don't bother at all.

In general i'm registered in the 2on2 ladder but have not yet signed up on a team as back when it started i did not want to join that one team that seemed to grab most of the players.. i just did not find an other team and also instead begun to play more and more ctf so i understand and see that problem for the ctf ladder to. Maybe we should wait a week or so to spread the news about the ctf ladder and see how many people that do not use the forum or irc yet will register in the ladder. If its just the usual suspects we can also keep the current teams..
