Ya know, I often see a lot of highly skilled players on Herforst, but I don't see them on this forum, and I don't see them on the ladder list either. It took me a while to even read this forum after the first time I played Nexuiz. Maybe there could be a message on the server that invites people to play the ladder or at least check out this forum. I haven't the ladder yet. In fact, I don't even know how to begin joining the ladder, or joining a clan. (yes, I read the ladder section on this website)

Yes, there should be a "Help" button in the menu with a link to the forums.

Is there some easy cross-platform way of doing so? On the other hand visiting http://nexuiz.com and clicking on forum should not be that hard. Maybe windows shortcuts to the forum and mainpage could be included in the main dir or the Docus dir

RBI is not a Real Clan[tm], which for example means that you cannot just simply "enter" or "leave" the clan... only you know if you are part of RBI or not...
Who's in the clan is defined by regularily visiting a certain location... oh wait, when will we play for an evening again?
Even our bots are not in [RBI] - they joined the Dave clan...

4. Open the file in Notepad again
You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

Yes, yes, yes. It is mysterious! You will know that you are in the clan when you are at this holy location. The location of happiness, joy and pain. I want to be there all the time! The colors, i want to see the colors of the home of the RBI-clan. The colors, they stare on me! Don't say McBounty is mad. McBounty is a really normal RBI-clanmember. If you are in our clan you will never get out! Muhahaha!

Actually, this is not quite true. But the only way to leave the clan is to get expelled from it.
But the only one to whom this ever really happened was [RBI]SirFantom, also known as stoica... yet sitll, everyone among us still remembers:
"Er hat auf mich geschiessen!"
"Nicht die Bombe defusen, nicht die Bombe defusen!"
"Nicht die Geiseln retten, nicht die Geiseln retten!"
"Nicht das Terminal hacken, nicht das Terminal hacken!"
"Ich hasse diese Mappe!"
However, so you also know what it is... a "Lochfeuer" is what you have to throw so you can say "Feuer im Loch", that is, "Fire in the hole"... yes, we admit - we did play a bit Tactical Ops.
