Since I am currently rather busy with many other things I cannot react to all the map requests that have been made for the 3on3 ladder. This is why I am looking for 1-2 persons that would like to volunteer as admins for the 3on3 ladder (and only for this 3on3 ladder
).
The following things are the tasks and duties of an admin:
- Handle map requests: It happens quite often that nexuiz players ask for the addition of custom maps to the 3on3 laddder mappool. It is your task to judge the maps' playability and to find people to test them, because no map should be added without being tested before. This also applied to maps of which you cannot clearly say that they are unsuitable anyway.
- Take care of the matches: when problems occur in a ladder (see corresponding rules page) the players are likely to contact an admin of that ladder to solve the problem (e.g. deleting a match that cannot be played because of high pings, or other things).
- Keep the ladder rules, news, etc. up2date.
You will get access to the backend (administration interface) of the ladder and you're able to do many things there:
- Write news for 3on3 ladder
- Edit the ladder properties (but please don't do this!)
- Edit the ladder rules
- Edit the ladder mappool (influences the dropdown menu that team leaders see when challenging other teams)
- Mass mail to all players of that ladder (I never tested whether this works, better don't try it
) - Edit users who are in that ladder
- Edit the teams of that ladder
- Edit the matches of that ladder
- Have the glorious list of what "The Cleaner ™" did in the past: the list of players and teams that were removed due to inactivity, deleted matches because of this, open challenges that resulted in a PP because they were not answered.
If you are interested in being an admin then write it directly here please (I check this forum on a daily basis). Of course you should only ask if you are trustworthy and known to the scene (and to me) for a longer period of time.
