No it's the same size, even a bit larger since you can now fall down from the roof.

I managed to laser jump from one of the windows in my base over the water and into the room with the Nex. I had never managed to jump that far before, so I tried it again and again and jumped across every time.

So I assumed you had very slightly reduced the size of the map.
