Ehm... I meant a link to gforce3 cleaned from the code of turrets...

I've already downloaded both gforce3 and 4 from http://maps.nexuizninjaz.com/ and after I've seen that both of them have that code, I requested u to post the cleaned versions.

It should be nice if in sites that provide maps, like nexuizninjaz, the maps downloadable are the cleaned ones, so no1 will have troubles with these (beautiful) maps.
And I hope also that at least one gforce will be included (again) in .de green... server, where i play usually, coz I know that many players like very much to play that map.

I did also the cleaned versions by me, but since the maps are yours I asked to u. I didnt want to publish modified things that are not my works, otherwise i'd had published them by myself without problems.

I'm working on it... you know... priorities are all over the place when you're running a community. I'd like to fix the map repo, in fact it's pretty high on the list but there are ALOT of things I have to tend to in the community.

To avoid in the future this problem, would be useful if a map with progs.dat couldn't be played if it is not called with _SVN or _experimental. Or maybe it could be played but with a warning.

I don't know whether this is possible or not.

why don't you create a new thread for each version? They are very different maps. I overlooked this one.

Cortez, you're just as stubborn as MikeeUSA.

And you're also just as wrong.
Omploader is definitely better than filefront.

With omploader, I can use the "wget" command and download the file directly to my server without having to download the file FIRST to my desktop first and THEN upload it to my server. With most other file uploading sites, wget will only download a HTML file from the URL.

Let me show you an example...

Code: Select all

:~/temp$ wget http://www.filefront.com/14637329/gforce5.pk3/
--19:47:27--  http://www.filefront.com/14637329/gforce5.pk3/
           => `index.html'
Resolving www.filefront.com... 38.118.213.10
Connecting to www.filefront.com|38.118.213.10|:80... connected.
HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 200 OK
Length: unspecified [text/html]

    [  <=>                                ] 33,620       132.39K/s

19:47:28 (132.39 KB/s) - `index.html' saved [33620]

See?
It downloads index.html, and that sucks.
