HOF:
<Diablo> the nex is a "game modification"
<Diablo> quake1 never had a weapon like that.
<Vordreller> there was no need for anything over 4GB untill Vista came along
<Samua>]Idea: Fix it? :D
<Samua>Lies, that only applies to other people.

tZork, my man- this map is, imo, 97% perfect. All it needs, imo, are a couple of things:

• Puts some nice colored lights in the underground area of the tunnel
• Make the space chunks in the _skybox nicer
• how do I get up to the little plateau with the megaarmor? The stairs are gone.
• Shouldn't the fan have a _trigger hurt?
• Update those lampposts- as they are now, they look like a bit of a cop-out. I was thinking something more traditional would be awesome, going with the theme the chains bring:

Other than these, this map is absolutely incredible. Good work.

PS: I LOVE the chains

I wanted a unurbanized look for teh underground, but now taht you mention it, it would proly look better with some lights down there.

Did you try it on a 2.4.2 server (or 2.4.2 client localy) The turbine has a trigger_impulse above it (new in 2.4.2) witch pushes you upwards in a smooth fassion (rather the then hard push a jumppad gives) that allows you to get on the hill (also, theres a l suspended above it)

• Update those lampposts- as they are now, they look like a bit of a cop-out. I was thinking something more traditional would be awesome, going with the theme the chains bring:

Hmm yes. i made those as brushmodels to save some time, bad call from me.

This map is awesome. I love the fan. Any changes should be minor.

Way to go!

Just played it online yesterday. Some people said that they would prefer the old version. I definitely think that this one is much better. Very good flow, interesting places to fight around and it looks great and unique.
And it provides a lot of fun :D

Great map !

It just seems that access to the bases is uneven. I think its the red base.. if doing right and using the terrain / rampjumps one can get to the flag much easier then the other base. Or maybe i just have not yet found the right spots for the other base :)
