this is a revised version of something ive been kicking around for a long time . there was a previous version of lava , but i quickly came to realise lava isnt fun . hopefully over time my mapping will get better . so im going to make diff styles of maps . but you can try this one out . hope you like it .

When installing your map, I get:
REJECTED: /tmp/Neon_v1r1.pk3: file scripts/70manimated.shader clashes with an existing file of the same name. Compare to: f77895ba3fcc1759ca58b711f126f990 scripts/70manimated.shader (from penthouse.pk3)

Sorry, this map is incompatible with "penthouse" on the same server. Please compare the shader files mentioned.

Ideally, make a separate .shader file containing only the shaders you added, rename the shaders you modified, and also include the original 70manimated.shader file with the map.

To be exact:

Make a separate .shader file containing your modified textures/70manimated/forcefield shader. You should also change the 70m in its name, as it stands for the author of the shader, 70mm13.

And why did you delete the textures/70manimated/bounce_alpha shader? If you had a good reason to, better write a new shader undoing what textures/70manimated/bounce_alpha did. If not, just put the original .shader file back in.
1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again

You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

ill get to work on it . weird i ddnt delete anything . but as far as the other shaders go ill try and get it going .

sry man , im just trying to learn all this stuff , so im learning from my mistakes . also looking into alpha shaders and shaders in general .
OK, i tested this one on a completely different nexuiz install hidden away in my pc . evrything seems to have worked , so hopefully i followed your instruction well . see what happens with this one .
P.S this is just a test built -light , vis faster . i have a few small details to tidy up then i will build the master bsp . i just want to see if this will run without errors which you stated above

Indeed, that version appears to be fine and not conflicting.

Seriously - this map is a piece of Art, ...you have to play on it to see what I mean. it's incredibly detailed and well thought-out, ...good frame-rate too with ALL the eye-candy on!

I get about 5 fps in the open parts, on a low config. Way too many patches, animated shaders and such. Also, if your goal was to make it look like a Las Vegas casino, you certainly succeeded :-]. I can't comment on the gameplay, because it's unplayable for me.

thanx im glad it looks good to you guys . I am putting neon back in the shop to see what I can do to raise fps . its weird , some people have great fps and some dont . Ill ask the pros what i can do to help it .
