much more fun than nexrun1 which has a horrible 2nd jump.

To me more challenging = more fun.
If anyone is expecting nexrun1 to be easy, they are wrong. And if you don't like a challenge dont play it then.

great way to advertise a new gametype

That sort of pretentious attitude is what turns off most players. 80% (I'm being kind here) of players can't make the 2nd jump in 15 tries. You say, "too bad, learn not to suck so hard".

I don't have a problem with things being challenging but you should try and hit a middle ground. It's too black and white.

Firstly, I'm not trying to advertise the new gametype. There are plenty of other maps for the gametype. The map is supposed to be able to help players learn how to do a proper circle jump with the new physics. and i never said "too bad, learn not to suck so hard". that is the dumbest exaggeration ever. i said CLEARLY that if you dont know how to circle jump then the map is not for you.

Short Version: great work!

Long Version Sponsored By Flame Bait Enterprises:

Surely the mentioned map would be ideal for people wanting to practice their circle jump? I learnt so much from FruitieX's 'Teachers' map for example. Or what about Test99? I'd say that type of map is specifically for players who want to improve/perfect their movement skills and in that case if it's POSSIBLE it can never be TOO DIFFICULT. Right? A Ninja should know that :P

Race mode in this context is imo only handy to compare times with each other. I would not expect anyone to actually do a race against each other on this type of map and maybe they should not even be in the regular map cycle of a race server. Just because too many people (like me!) would get too frustrated too quickly. But that's a responsibility of the server admin, not of the mapper.

Maybe we need a name prefix for these "extremely difficult" maps...
or maybe a logo indicating that on the preview pic.
1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again

You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

Uhm, sorry but i totally dislike this map.. without that movie i would have had NO idea how to continue at those spots i should wallclimb. WHAT ABOUT GUIDING PLAYERS thru a jumpmap? Requiring people to watch a movie to understand a map is NOT guiding :P
Some indicators, a mark or arrow on the wall. Preferably a BIG one for those using picmap. (Sorry if there is one but picmip 3 does not even show it..)

Also ignoring all the mapbugs in the curves.. :P

Okay well, I apologize for derailing the thread, rather than continue this futile argument, we'll have the best of both worlds. I've forked nexrun1 to end this argument.

Also, nexrun2 is a great map :D

firsty i didnt make the map so i know nothing about the bugs in the curves.
secondlly, i am sure you have all heard of defrag or warsow race. seems to me that they dont have videos of maps being completed. the only reason i made the video was to show the differences i had made from revenants version of the map. also if there are more than enough waypoints to show you where to go next.
