GardenRoulette (version 10) - A garden amongst aquatic ruins. This map is best played in KH, DM, or CTF (especially) mode. (C) GNU GPL v2

It Includes: Gears turning. A single zero roulette wheel. Jetpack pickup somewhere. All weapons (sans porto-launcher and hook). 2 loops. Ruins all over the place. Water. An underwater maze where the flags are! (HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA). New skybox ofcourse. All gpl etc.

Sure.. if one loves freaking low fps.. Rotating stuff can't be used in the bsp tree and slows rendering down..

constructive idea: what about letting the skybox rotate (by not using a skybox, but a HUGE func_rotating instead, preferably not with a submodel but with a model in e.g. dpm format), and keeping the map static?
1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again

You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

take the nexball model put it in the middle with solid and a movetype would be good (and retexture the ball) :) or make the texture of the roulette thing rotating

Yes the roulette wheel spins.

This is supposed evoke the "ancient ruin" motif which was seen in some of the sonic games (marble zone, aquatic ruin, marble garden, rusty ruin, etc) :)

Has anyone played a ctf match?

The roulette wheel has caulk in it's bowl so you'll only get the benifit of slower fps when you are in it or up high.
