OK its my new map Capturecity3. Need i say more?

all sorts of borked for me, missing textures and errors and such. I think others had the same problem when tried on bc2.

yeah missing textures and the teleporters under each base are really...flaky. They don't always work.

I like some of the ideas in the map. The biggest problem with the map is the really really low FPS. It's simply unplayable. It's worse than the original capturecity, which had FPS issues as well. divVerent had to use hint brushes to improve the performance on that map. You can read about it here

And here is some basic info about how hint brushes work.

Please, in the future, do not use my map names that way. That way, if I do an improvement, I can't use v3 any more but have to switch to v4. Also, this will make server admins think that they don't need to host my version any more as yours is "more recent" - but it's not a new version of the map, but an entirely new map.

Please do not use name space of other mappers unless you have their okay.

EDIT: as your BSP is called capturecity3, I just ask you to rename your pk3 to be capturecity3_v1.pk3 so one can see it's a version of capturecity3 and not of capturecity.
1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again

You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

That is exactly why nexuiz needs single, centralized (but possibly mirrored), official map repo/website.

-other name [X] (Nexuiz City)
-hint brushes [X]
-add missing textures [] (after compile)
