ONS Darkzone

Has enough room for a 8-10 players.

ONS Fortress Resurrection

Fortress Resurrection ONS v1r1. There are a lot stuff to do, but the map is in quite playable condition.

Doc's Morpheus remake

The quality we all know from Doc Pyton. I've done some editing on it : cloned one of the towers, so they can house the genrators.
I've added more light also, it was very dark on default.

Arboria v2r4
(converted by sev)

Big and very open. No turrets, but it should be quite fun with >8 players.
I redid the paths and trees to cut down triangle count, performance should be better than before.

These maps are btw. the main backbone of the ONS FragFest events.

It would be really cool if at least one of these became an official Onslaught map to ship with Nexuiz and keep Reborn company, especially given the download times for your average Onslaught map, so big are they.

That's why I've posted the links for the maps already, and I'll do so for the other maps for the fragfest too, so nobody will have to wait until they download the maps ingame.

And about going into official: currently none of the maps above satisfy all the rules to become an official map:

Darkzone: very poorly edited, some parts should be totally remade from scratch.

Fortress Resurrection : lighting is too flat, and probably needs more detail (not to mention you have to turn off reflections, the performance is just shit there).

Doc's Morpheus remake:
I can't decide about that, we should ask Doc Pyton ('1d also need to remove/remake some textures, Idk the legal status).

Arboria v2r4 : again with the textures, and I'm not even sure about the whole concept of the map, as it could raise copyright issues (ut2k4)

If some textures are all that would need to be redone to get these two in, then with a list of which textures those are specifically, I think we could probably get those remade without too much effort and then be GPL compliant.

Umm... I haven't said it's unplayable. It just looks ugly in the editor.
The map layout is great, why would I remove a good map?
