As this is an unmodified track from another game, it has two alternate paths. If you go forward at the intersection, you end up in the harder but faster path; if you go left, you end up in the easier and more fun but slower path.

And yes, the looping and corkscrew ARE playable :P

The map BTW uses Nexrun physics and requires a SVN server.

Oh, and please ignore the texture alignment issues... when the tiles are redone maybe later, they won't use this asymmetric texture any more :P

For extra challenge, try completing as lap in both routes without using the Laser. The normally easier route is VERY hard to beat without laser without a running start...

1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again

You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

Played this yesterday on your server, a great idea to port a Stunts map to Nexuiz :D Slime for grass is also a very good idea to prevent players cutting the course. I might have to steal that idea for one of my own race maps :P
Now with new shiny avatar.

The map however is the default track that comes with Stunts :P

If we however want such a map in Nexuiz:

- someone should redo the tiles
- someone should redo the track (or maybe ask that JTK guy who made lots of tracks and contests for Stunts whether we can use it)
1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again

You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

so just placing the elements in a different order would count as redone?

btw why do you placed all the stuff at one point in the map file?

It is not placed at one point :P update your NetRadiant.
1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again

i like old versions more :)
why does this map needs a svn and doesnt work on 2.5?

and the real question does replacing the elements in a different order would count as redone?

As for the former: because the map was written by a script, and func_group does not allow the origin key in older q3map2 and radiant.

As for the latter, depends on how much you reorder.
