[Race] Azure

Postby Sepelio » Sun Aug 09, 2009 5:57 pm

This is a race map I've been working on. Its made almost entirely out of patches so we just have to hope it works. I compiled it on my spare computer and it must have taken at least 24hours hehe.

Anyway I wanted to make a map sort of like racetrack but with more boosty things and a jump.

The joins between some of the patches aren't perfect. I dislike working with patches even though it is so very very easy. Anyway:

Enjoy!

Very nice, ran into a MAJOR problem though. It shows up only under deathmatch whenever I go to create a game.
I have left this website with the rest of the GPL Nexuiz community. You can find us at Xonotic.org

Nice. Is it GPL? I'm considering putting it up on the nexrun server :)

I like it, but there are some bugs, well not really bugs but the patches are like blocking you sometimes, also there is a bug in nexrun atm that makes this map less fun(bug is that the thing that should make you speed up, block you atm)

Yeah the patches arent particularly user friendly. There are definately certain areas in the map I would call bugged. I've actually managed to fall through the map before XD

Apparently only some have this bug though, weird.

This is a beautiful and solidly built map it seems to me. I haven't yet experienced any bugs in it.
