Hello,

this is what I worked on this week:

edit: Version 9 available now.

Download: http://omploader.org/vM291bA/courtfun_v9.pk3 (~8.1 MB)

This uses parts of the trak4 and trak5 texture sets and map objects from desertfactory. Thanks to the original authors!

The map is GPL, sources included.

Enjoy.

Cool! Can't wait to test it online. That'll probably have to be after 2.5.2 though, or else people will miss textures! :)

It looks a bit bright and uncontrasted to me! Or maybe it's just your screenshot/graphics settings... But the architecture looks rad.

Very nice CTF map! like ti very much!
A little bit more detail, and I thin kit can go right straight into SVN.
I don't know why btw. but I've felt some old-schoolness in this map - as if it was remained from Nexuiz 1.x. And I like that very much too ;)

@Mr. Bougo: Lighting is always something I'm fighting with. In this special case the map fog may be to blame, though. I'd like to have this map an "unhealthy" appearance (after all this is an industry-styled map - with leaking tanks of toxic stuff), so there's a rather thick yellow fog I may like to tweak later on.

@C.Brutail: I assume the old-schoolness may stem from the fact I'm very much into defining rooms with few, rather thick brushes. The roof construction also looks similar to those found in Quake 1 or 3. It's all pretty raw and minimalistic and makes the map look like it's been constructed with tons of meter-thick concrete.

Cool, it's pretty good for gameplay and style. I just want to say though.....

We have enough trak textured maps now!!!! :P Stop using those textures! :P

Version 6 available now. Some more detail, more evenly placed items. Strength for added frenzy.

Link in first post of this thread.

Enjoy.

Nice work with lighting, looks really great with bloom/HDR on.
Can't say much about gameplay, but I'm sure this map must be run on at least 20 players server. Otherwise people will quickly get bored of covering large distances just to get sniped by a camper on the enemy base.
