It's... it's... beautiful. Can anyone put it on public servers (DCC maybe ;)) I'd love to playtest it with human opponents!

Hey halogene, it's on dcc plain and beginner as of yesterday.
...
SC0RP, tanks yoo, got any nice new tunes for this one? the pk3 is 17 mb already.. snthn small?
...
Also to kojn who was moaning about the boxy nature of the central green mountain thingy, i had intended to cover this with a model and just use this as the vis blocking component , however i could not at the time find a way of efficiently modeling this.
But just now I rediscovered the shrink wrap modifier, which works for this beautifully.
...
Other things that will happen for v2 will be a few more weapons, maybe a few sound effects. Praps the tiger will make an appearance..

Oh, is it? Thanks for the info! I didn't have time to play on the weekend, but maybe I will manage to test it tonight. I'll try!

Edit: Indeed a very unique map with interesting features. I don't think I have been to all the places yet, but it is very much fun to move around. Action seems to concentrate on the area next to the circular stairs, IIRC the MG is placed there - didn't have much time yesterday, so I just managed to play it once :o/

Anyway, compliments, Rad! *thumbsup*

It's a beautiful map.
I love how you think outside the box. There are a lot of features about this map that I really like.
But it's not very playable. It feels very difficult to move around the map and there aren't many areas in which to have a battle. If some of the flat areas of the map could be expanded, then it could become a good DM map.

I found the ladder. Took me a few minutes.
I can't capture video on nexuiz for some stupid reason (it just records as flat white...same with screen caps) but here is the demo.

really nice map design!
even the cellshading looks nice, and doesnt kill the framerate much!
i like the small details in it, like spirals..

still the main textures looked to similiar for my taste - like colored cork wood, but still cork everywhere ;)
also we were 4 or five when trying the map, but hardly came across each other - needs lots of players i guess!

but hell, beautiful design, many nice twists in it!

ps: maybe some blow tube or jump pad may have the map appear smaller, meaning easier traversal and more gameplay?
