The bug is fixed in darkplaces svn, but I have no idea when nexuiz 2.5.3 will be released. So people using a vanilla engine still have to enable reflections to see water properly. In the shader I removed the refractions pass and used one single water plane so most people should get decent performance (must better than reservoir_r4 at least).

yes the blue and red textures are actually emitting light. But indeed with hdr bloom on the screenshot it's a bit too much...
