Photorealism Challenge

I just had a look at the Crysis website. They have some brilliant looking work to show off their new engine:

I think that Nexuiz could match this. :D
So here's the challenge: Of all photographs posted in this thread one will be chosen and mapped, as accurately as possible. It would be cool if you post multiple shots of the same place.

I would prefer indoor photos of factories and other industrial stuff.

Well it really looks good but it also looks very unreal.. I read that pictures only look good if they are 'real' or 'far enough from being real'. I think this one falls into the category between which makes the picture look worse then it is but might just be me.

Oh and sure can Nex render shots like this one.. The question is just how fast and is anyone willing to put enough energy into it :)

What if the picture is of a sprawling outdoor scene? ;)

That would be a lot harder in Nexuiz and games in general. Industrial buildings are a lot easier.

It would be much more difficult to do outdoor but post the photo anyway. If it is very good I don't see why we shouldn't try it.

Do we post any photo that we find, like on flickr?
Or would we need to post ones that we know have an open license?

At the bottom left of this directory is a list of royalty-free photo repositories
http://www.alvit.de/handbook/

If you do a search for factory, warehouse or building, you may find some gems.

Any photo from anywhere is fine. All I want is a pretty environment you would like to see rendered in Nexuiz. I don't want to copy the Crysis map.
