National colors on skins??

I been playing a little while now, and I see a lot of ppl with their national colors in with their name. Would it be nicer to have them on your characters uniform, or no? Well, how about it?

I think that idea is kinda lame. Sorry. Also, some countries have much better colors than others, visibility-wise, and some national colors are just ugly (*cough* USA *cough*). I would hate to be running around as mulder shaped uncle sam.

It'd probably fire up some political argument over nexuiz and so and so.

In OpenArena I was originally going to have the blue kyonshi represent republic of china and red kyonshi represent people's republic of china, but that idea fell through.

If anyone really wants to, they can already kind of change their pants and shirt textures appropriately. Wearing flags would be silly though.

I'd like to thank madmonk for teaching me that Hungary shares the same 3 colours with Italy, I was finding it odd that so many italian players were in the HUN clan.

also, "I'd do it tomorrow" is very musical and nice, I can't stop saying it now that I've read it.

This is a brilliant idea! In Wales our national flag is made up of a random pattern in the colours of "dark grey" and "invisible". Honest.
