I dont know why you are so persistant in coming back to this community, but you are certainly not welcome- or at least I dont want you here (being a relatively new member, I dont want to speak for anyone else, but I am sure they share my sentiments).

the "source" .map file is the map file that has been compiled to the .bsp.

So basically every .map file is the source for a .bsp file.

For example:
You open GtkRadiant and build a map. It is then saved as mymap.map.
Now mymap.map is the map-file or "source" of the map.
Now compile mymap.map using q3map2 and you'll get a second file called mymap.bsp.
mymap.bsp is the compiled file that is readable by the Nexuiz-engine.
Now you can play your map in Nexuiz using the mymap.bsp.

If you want to edit the map "mymap" that you play in Nexuiz then you need to get the mymap.map file, edit the mymap.map file and compile the mymap.map file which will result in a new mymap.bsp file.
TThis new mymap.bsp will then be the edited version ingame (like additional architecture or whatever you changed in the mymap.map before compiling)

My next map will be a circular tubespacestation ... in space. It will be simple, you should love and worship it as much as you do other very simple and ruidementary maps.

Why so many people like eggandbacon, I don't know. It is just a big spamfest and was meant as a joke by me.

However, it is at least something visually.

Your maps all have the same big problem you seem to never want to solve - they contain pitch black areas without any lights. A camper's paradise. This is especially true in half of blueamuse - a flag carrier hiding there will NEVER be found - and in the blue flag area of dastower. You know, the game is called CAPTURE THE FLAG, not FIND THE FLAG.

The next Nexuiz release however will contain an option to light up the whole map by a small amount, so even your maps will become playable. LordHavoc is even thinking of setting a minimum light value BY DEFAULT.

In an ideal world, both men and women have the very same rights. That does not mean they will do the very same things or behave the very same way; actually, they shouldn't. But using law, even refusing them their human rights, to force them to behave like you want is neither a good thing to do nor is it going to work. Dictatorships never work out, be it in politics (I am German, I know very well what happens in dictatorships and what's bad about them) or at home. A woman isn't an object you can do whatever you want with. If you want SUCH women... well, you should know where to go, but don't forget to take money with you.

Oh and btw, your maps ISN'T the best out there either. They do lag cause of too many brushes and way too many things being drawn at the same time (dastower). They are complicated and not very newbie friendly. People new to Nexuiz would probably leave the game when playing your maps. I've seen and played the so called "worse" people's maps which are better than yours', that is true, not saying it cause of the scumbag you are. Don't think you are a god in creating maps.

I think a simple solution to get rid of this... whatever it is... would be to add a couple of questions about men/women rights to the sign-up page of this forum. This guy might be a twat, but he is a consistent twat ! I don't think he would be able to deny his beliefs just to get into the forum.
