Shaders + Playermodel = ?

Postby Genegineer » Thu Jun 07, 2007 4:52 pm

Is it possible to mix shaders in with playermodels? Idea: Model with energy bolts (think lightning) for upper arm(s). I know I can make them, but so far they would be static. I'm looking to make the texture animated, so it would look like energy is moving back and forth. Any help, tips, whatever would be appreciated. Thanks!

This is something I have been wondering about as well. Who should I get in contact with?

Look at the player models by leileilol.

http://emptyset.endoftheinternet.org/~r ... sui-v2.pk3
1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again

You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.
