Dynamic Lights from Shaders?

Dynamic Lights from Shaders?

How do you get dynamic lights to appear from shaders? I'm talking something like q3map_surfacelight, which makes light on the shader without a pointlight. Can you do the same with realtime dynamic lights?

afaik you dont.

you use r_editlights* commands ingame to make realtime lights.
HOF:

They are also emitted by pointlights, right?

Yes, the dynamic lights Nexuiz uses are pointlights.
